Zargham bin Aamer

Founding Partner

Zargham specializes in strategy, execution and growth through real estate M&A and Capital Markets. As co-founder of CIEL, he leads the firm’s end-to-end execution efforts - working closely with real estate operators, developers, and capital partners to drive capital formation, acquisitions, and institutional readiness.Zargham is the Founding Partner of CIEL. Zargham has substantial experience in helping early-stage and growth-stage real estate companies navigate their M&A and capital markets goals. His core responsibility at CIEL is to ensure seamless end-to-end execution of the growth objectives of partner companies. 

Before launching CIEL, Zargham managed M&A and capital markets initiatives at a U.S.-based real estate and energy family office, helping lead rollups and strategic acquisitions across $2B+ in real estate portfolios, including data centers, multifamily, and residential assets. He supported M&A and Capital Markets readiness across mixed-use, development, and SFR portfolios, to ensure execution at institutional standards.Prior to CIEL, Zargham managed M&A and capital markets at a private family office in the United States, where he formulated and executed strategies to conduct acquisitions and rollups of $2Bn worth of real estate portfolios in the data center, multifamily, and residential sectors. 

Zargham also spearheaded buy-side diligence for a nationwide SFR platform and advised on the securitization of real estate portfolios via blockchain infrastructure. Prior to this, he founded BlockFort Capital, one of South Asia’s first HNW-backed digital asset funds, delivering a return 2x higher than Bitcoin's performance in the same period and advising multiple asset tokenization ventures.Prior to that, Zargham founded BlockFort Capital,  one of South Asia's first HNW backed digital assets fund - which he closed and exited with a 2x average market return. In conjunction with BlockFort, he served as an advisor to several asset-based tokenization startups. 

Zargham earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.

Outside of work, Zargham is a budding powerlifter, a longevity enthusiast, and has lived in four countries (and counting).
